ABSTRAK

ABSTRACT: The presence of information technology has been one of critical success factor in supporting an organization's business. The high role of information technology in supporting the success of an organization must not be separated from the basic formulation of mission and vision the organisation which directs its information technology management policy. By a process and stages of work in formulating information technology architecture, a draft of it would be obtained in accordance with the organizational objectives. Center for Information and Communication Technology (Pustekkom) is a goverment institution under the Ministry of National Education. In Permendiknas no. 38 of 2008, Pustekkom has been appointed to manage the ICT in the Ministry of National Education, and to take the responsibility of the educational services' success using information technology. The availability of information technology infrastructure managed by Pustekkom are a main service which is given to all major units within Kemdiknas. The high growth of content and complexity of services that rely on the supporting role of information technology requires an adaptive design of the infrastructure of information technology as an antipasive step in providing good services. In this research we will discuss about the adaptive design that will be able to support and accelerate the integration between systems by using the approach of TOGAF as its framework, service-oriented infrastructure with virtualization (Service Oriented Infrastructure/SOI), service-oriented network architecture (SONA). Based on the analysis of the service condition and infrastructures in Pustekkom by using TOGAF framework, it generates a model of information technology architecture by using the approach of SONA and virtualization. Information technology architecture consists of business architecture, data architecture, application and technology architecture. Service of applications that can be a preliminary design of virtualization of Jardiknas' sites, Kemdiknas' portals, mails, helpdesk applications, Jardiknas dns, syslog, hosting and edukasinet so that it can be the basis of information technology infrastructure design and provide a foundation in the development of e-education infrastructure in the future
