ABSTRACT

Expert Systems Applications is a software package that discusses how to detect kidney disease in human. Programming language used to create this expert system application is a Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 with a database using Microsoft Access 2003. In accordance with the programming language used then the interface will be shown in providing information to the user will be in the form of a visual. In this study described how expert systems to diagnose kidney disease and using Certainty Factor and tracking techniques with Forward Chaining method as well as a knowledge base that can be updated according to the development of knowledge. Expert system for diagnosing kidney disease with certainty factor method was designed and built with the aim to diagnose and document the various types of kidney disease and its treatment and solutions, especially for health academics. Reasoning skills Kidney Disease Diagnosis Expert System uses a forward chaining and certainty factor. Keywords: Expert System, Kidney, Certainty Factor Method, Method Forward Chaining.
