Information System Strategic Planning refers to the portfolio organizing process for the Information System implementation and application to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of a corporation so as to facilitate its objectives. Strategic system is very crucial for the corporation to achieve the competitive edge to reach its goals. In order to be called strategic, a system ought to transform significantly the corporate business performance, its approach in achieving strategic goals, the way it runs its business and compete, or the style of interaction it has with its clients and dealers. The method used in information system strategic planning is a comprehensive and practical approach to develop the application system strategic plan, hardware and software technology and supporting infrastructure management, which together will create the information system strategy. This research began by determining the business needs of the organization and identifying the application that will effectively support its business strategy. Afterward the company’s information system strategic planning is created, including the information system and technology management infrastructure that is needed. In the end, the implementation of this strategic plan is further developed. The data for this research is attained by way of observation, interview and documentation study/archive analyzing.
