Information Technologi (IT) has become an expensive investment for an organization today. THerefore, good IT governance is needed to gain more benefits from IT investment and to address the potential risks correctly. One of the IT investments is IT infrastructure investment which should be governed using IT infrastructure governance in order to support good IT Governance in organization. This research proposes the IT infrastructure governance model in a government-owned financial institution as the place of case study. To get more - comprehensive IT governance, it should combine IT governance framework and IT Service Management framework. In this research, COBIT and IT-IL are used as the best-practices from those frameworks. The result of this research consists of processes or activities which are needed to govern IT infrastructure, related structures and its roles, control objectives in dealing with the potential risks, and appropriate service management in each stage of IT infrastructure life cycle.
