ABSTRACT
Name : Annisa Karimah A. Tamalate Study Program : Information System Title : Analysis of Student’s Activity Data and Academic Data for Predictive Model Development Using Logistic Regression: Case Study in Calculus and Linear Algebra Student Centered e-Learning Environment (SCeLE) implementation causes a paradigm shift in Fasilkom learning style. This new paradigm called student centered learning, where students are responsible for learning improvement and demanded to be actively participating in online and offline learning activity. So the level of activity of students in the classroom and SCeLE maybe has a correlation with student success. Several correlation analyses were performed to prove the relationship between the levels of activity with student success. Another purpose of this study is to develop a model to predict student success using logistic regression. The result of this research is logistic regression attains an accuracy of 95.4% on predict student’s success. Moreover, correlation analysis proves that forum activity is correlated with final grades. But the presence of students only has a small effect on the final grades. Key words: Data analytics, Predictive analytics, SCeLE, student centered learning
