CDMA 2000 1x EV-DO, the extended version of the previous CDMA version which is CDMA 2000 1x, is designed for accommodating the need of asymmetric data communication such as internet download for higher capacity up to 2.4 Mbps downstream and 153 Kbps upstream. The problem occurred in the CDMA 2000 1x EV-DO is when the terminal, which is accessing the internet services, is connected in a certain speed. This connection will affect the change in quality of the signal received in the form of throughput and Bit Error Rate (BER). This paper presents the results of analysis of the effect of the user movement in terms of its throughput and BER. By comparing the throughput and BER with the increase of the MS speed , then the BPSK mapping is the most stable. Besides, BER from BPSK is the lowest one and BER 8-PSK is the highest. This is caused by the increase of MS speed, which has an effect on the faster respond canal. In this case, it is required to make a fast decision from 0 to 1. Since BPSK 1 only has 1 bit, then the decision making has to be taken faster and easier. However, if it is compared to the HTTP and video streaming services, BER BPSK is not different.
