Internet is an important need of many people newodays. In the mean time, internet service providers face problems serving access points to network. Considering the width of powerline network coferage, using powerline as the computer network infrastructure could be a good solution. In this research, we investigate the performance of computer network using powerline communication infrastructure. Because of the different characteristic of power consumption, the implementation and the experiment held in two different enviroments, office and residence enviroments. We collect information about the performance of different length of cable at different time. We records the transfer rate and we investigate data transfer graphic using Network Metering Tools and Network Stopwatch. The result shows that different length of cable, time and electric used in the network influence the performance of computer network with powerline metwork as infrastructure.
