Information system plays a vital role in a successful business strategy. The effectiveness of an information system can be optimized if it is strategically planned. Information System Strategic Planning in a company will increase the efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of business processes. It can also create newe opportunities and increase the competitive edge of a company. In the project reported here, Information System Strategic Planning Based on Business Value Method (Be Vissta Planning Method) was used. Be Vissta Planning (BVP) method is a compilation of a range of Strategic Information Planning Systems methods developed by the intenational consulting company Price Waterhouse Cooper and the authors; John Ward, James Wetherbe, James Martin and Edwin Tozer. BVP not only has adopted all of the strengths of those famous methods but also been added with IS/IT business value measurement module. BVP was applied in PT. Virama Karya, a state-owned company with a core business in technical and management consultant. The Information Economics method of Marylin Parker was used in order to ascertain the implementation priorities which are based on the score of the IS/IT projects. Based on the project scores, the list of IS/IT priorities to be implemented by PT. Virma Karya is as follows: IS Arrangement Project, IS Optimization of Human Resources and Equipment, Data Base of Skilled Employees, Funding Project for IS and an Internet Virtual Private Network
