ABSTRACT Name : Elvan Rizky Novandi Study Program : Computer Science Title : Development and Evaluation of m-Learning Applications Based on Felder-Silverman's Learning Style Counsellor : Harry Budi Santoso, S.Kom, M.Kom, Ph.D Dr. Drs. R. Yugo Kartono Isal, M.Sc Every student has a different learning style. Not all of these learning styles can be facilitated through classroom learning. M-Learning is a learning model that utilizes information and communication technology in the form of mobile. M-Learning is a learning method that supports learning activities in the classroom and facilitates a variety of student learning styles. However, many research related to the development of m- Learning applications have not yet facilitated the learning styles of different students. From this issue, this study discusses the development of adaptive m-Learning applications that can facilitate the needs of different students. This study discusses the development of adaptive m-Learning applications based on Felder-Silverman's learning style using the User Centered Design (UCD) method which begins with user needs analysis, interaction design design, application development, and ends with usability testing. The process of developing this interaction design research applies the best practice of interaction design namely Shneiderman's Eight Golden Rules of Interface Design and Gagne’s Nine Events of Instructions to become the foundation for the proposed application. Next, a usability test is performed on the proposed application to ensure good usability of the application. The result, obtained the fact that the proposed application that was tested on 10 participants produced good usability. In addition, several suggestions for improvement on the developed application are proposed. Key words : M-Learning, Learning Style, User-Centered Design
