In this paper, simulation study of grid connected PV and wind generation system with frequency oriented control is presented. Random power fluctuation of PV and wind generation may cause frequency fluctuation in the grid. In order to recude the frequency fluctuation, control strategy to maintain the blance of real power between supply and demand in the power system is proposed. The real power deviation is suppressed by uility grid and battery energy stroage. The structure of controller is conventional first order PI controller. The model of the grid connected PV and wind generation systems have been implemented in the MATLAB/SIMULIK software. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy against random power of PV and wind generation systems, and load change.
