Recently in japan, the mental healthcare has become a very important issue because there are many people suffering from mental problems and there are few mental healthcare specialists. Therefore, it is very important to decrease the moving time of mental healthcare specialists. For this reason, we have developed a WWW video-conference system, which can provide the communication between mental healthcare specialists and their students, and between mental healthcare specialists, patients and their families. In order to evaluate the performance of our system, we analyzed the server load performance in LAN enviroment by changing the frame rate, frame size and number of clients. The experimental results show that throughput is proportional to the frame rate and is affected from the number of clients but not from the frame size. From our experimental results, we found that the proposed system can be used in the internet environment using ADSL or FTTH.
