Most universities are carrying out the scheduling process of both the lecturers and the examinations for the subject manually. Scheduling management system was originally an activity of scheduling classes and exams to get generate the schedule for lecturers and their exams. Moreover, in the process of scheduling, some constraints such as the lecturers preferred time, the number of courses offered, the limitations of the number and capacity of each class, as well as the students have to be considered. In line with the thinking above, it would be better if the universities develop an exam scheduling system that will optimize the scheduling process so that it can be done in a more effective and efficient manner. Therefore, this paper offers an exam scheduling system using graph coloring as one of many alternative applications developed for university use.
