Network management worm (NMW) system is introduced in this paper. NMW system is a back- end part of our nation wide network management system and assists WIDE/Phone Shell environ- ment. NMW is supported by three sub systems. They are WSD. OWL. and WORMC. These sub systems send. receive and execute NMW. Vari- ous information and command can be packed into NMW and processed on various hosts. We are testing NMW system in some networks to man- age and monitor their networks and NMW system has been working fine. We think NMW system will be widely spread in the WIDE internet soon.
