The fast growth of economic business turning creates new enterprise or business in the same industry. Those enterprises become competitors to the existing ones. One of strategies to encounter the tight competition is empowering the information and knowledge. The information and knowledge gained are giving benefits to the company to get competitive advantage. This matter happens because the role of data is very important in this era, moreover in supporting the decision making process. The data will be helpful if they are managed well. Today, manufacturing industry is filled by data but lack of information. Therefore, the data calculation to be source of information and knowledge would be playing a vital role in manufacturing industry. To possess information and knowledge which are needed is not as easy as gaining information on data. Many methods could be applied to find information and knowledge that we need. One of the best ways is applying Data Warehouse and Data Mining. This final project is discussing about how to design and built the Data Warehouse as well as implementing Data Mining to improve the productivity in manufacturing environment. Some steps will be conducted in this research are, first, reviewing the business and information needs by analyzing company profile and its system, second is data collection either through interview or field work, third is Data Warehouse designing and the last is applying the Data Mining by using association rules technique to improve the productivity in manufacturing environment.
