Indonesia government managed the non-timber forst products (NTFPs) that are values as an appropriate policy because the forrst management based on timber has increased the problem. one of the valuable NTFP commodities is honey from species of apis dorsata. unpredictable production capacity and time have influenced the performeance of the supply chain in delivering value to end customer. futhermore farmers living in remote areas have accessbility to technology and market information very limited. the developing and managing mutually collaboration among suplly chain members are important for a company to survive and grow. meanwhile the adoption of information technology can support and imporove business and managerial decision-making within supply chain. the pupose of this paper is to build on a theoretical framework for collaboration development and ICT adoption in natural honey supply chain. we proposed three collabolation enablers that contribute to better supply chain performance consisting of information sharing, decision synchronization and incentive alignment. the previos studies proposed the combination of prominent theories to identify the challanges and opportunities of issues, namely technology acceptance management (TAM), social cognitive theory (SCT), innovation diffusion technology (IDT), and others theory such as organizational theory and price olicy. authors studied the issues from four perspectives, i.e. individual, institutional, as well as local and national government. the previous research proposed a model that can be used to examine the challenges and opportunities to employ SC collaboration concept and ICT adoption in forestry indrustries.
