The open-water performance of different propellers are predicted by the RANS formula and RNG k-Ɛ model based on sliding mesh; the prediction results of the thrust coefficients, torque coefficient are compared with the experimental value. it is shown that, the numerical method presented in this paper has good precision in the prediction of propeller open-water performance, and the predicted pressure coefficients is basically coincident with the experimental data.
