IRMA is a set of multimedia and software tools implemented to encourage the dissemination of scientific culture. on the basis of web technologies we have developed an environment to help learner approaching some mathematical topics, which become accessible through historical news, simulations and interactive applications. in this paper, we will explore the main design and implementation issues of IRMA project and how it can be used in a didactical activity.
