In order to obtain the dramatic 3D dancing animation and control the 3D animation to realize human-computer interaction, motion capture technology and object-oriented graphics rendering engine (OGRE) were integrated to establish a system which could achieve those goals in this paper. the original dancing data was obtained by motion capture technology and processed with quadratic fitting so that the processed data can keep smooth and efficient. then the existed model and the motion data were imported into OGRE through the related plugin where the three-dimensional animation could be driven by using some associated functions. in OGREE the observer could not only set the attribute of this animation but also enrich the scene according to their needs. the display the 3D dancing animation better. thiis system can be used to demonstrate and protect the national dance and the related art forms.
