Crossbar switch is the most popular on-chip interconnection mechanism used in multicore processors, which performance has a strong impact on the rest of the chip-based probability statistics, this research shows the performance evaluation result of the crossbar switch used in longteng M2 quad-core processor. the speedup under random distribution, normal distribution and cauchy distributionis respectively 1.48, 1.82 and 2.88. the resultt shows programs with better locality obtain better performance in multicore processors using the crossbar switch.
