Water supply provision program in The Transmigration Settlement Unit is one of required programs in available transmigration sites. The success of the transmigrant assignment program will be determined by the achievement of water supply provision in the transmigration site. Directorate of Building Preparation (Dit.PBP), in charge of technical activities in provision of water supply, is responsible for solving problems in the program implementation of water supply provision program (PSAB) in The Transmigration Settlement Unit (UPT). One of the major problems frequently found is that the application of information system and information technology does not provide a proper result. Indealing with these problems. Directorate Of Building Preparation need to develop computer based information system and technology of water supply provision program in The Transmigration Settlement Unit. The system consistes of the following sub-systems: *Data and Documentation,* Technical Planning,*Controlling and Evaluation ,*Program Compilation , and,*Contract and Bidding. This Thesis will be discuss phases that should be followed in the process of development of the new information system and information technology. THose phases are: existing system review and analysis, strategic information systems plan, database design, and infrastructure plan. The result of the phases are expected to become the implementation quideline. By implementing information system of water supply provision in The Transmigration Settlement Unit it is expected that the problems occurred in the water supply provision could be solved and overcome. Directorate Of Building Preparation would be able to carry out the task s and functions to achieve the goals and objectives of water supply provision activity in The Transmigration Settlement Unit.
